In this lesson we will discuss slash chords. The sometimes can cause a lot of confusion but they are really quite simple. Its a chord name followed by the low bass note. The chord name will be the first letter, and then the 2nd letter, or what is under the slash mark is the low bass note. So C/G is read "C over G" and played as a C major chord with an added low G bass note. These slash chords are very cool and add some real bite to the given chord.
